Feelings Say it All…

Photo by Joshua Abner on Pexels.com

When you sense joy and happiness,

When sadness is on board,

The best way of expression though, are the feelings we endure,

From the loud sound of laughter to the silence that flows,

Smell of the fragrance of flowers to the winds that blow,

The sense of excitement overflows,

Sometimes anxiety comes in though,

Feelings of achievement and success,

Feelings of fear and failure,

We sense different feelings at different times,

When we run fast,

The thrill of our heart beating faster,

Our pulse stronger and becomes low as we go slow,

Feeling of touch and smell to the sight of the morning glow,

Feelings are very important as its the only way we can show…

The Mountain Spirit

Photo by Simon Matzinger on Pexels.com

I walk towards the light,

The mountain shows me the way,

Healing my earthly wounds,

That never seem to go away,

Nature is my help to serenity,

The trees, the river, sounds of tranquillity,

Standing tall and majestic your peak covered with white glow,

The mountain is my company when I feel low,

I sit all day admiring your beauty,

As loneliness takes over I enjoy your company,

We cross paths every day,

Amidst all the chaos and turmoil, you maintain my sanity,

All the roads lead to you and bow to your presence,

You are the sacred journey I wish to take…

Desert Beast

Photo by Taryn Elliott on Pexels.com

Carrying huge burden,

He lifts up his load with ease,

Crossing the vast desert land,

Traveling long journeys without water to drink,

Through the intense heat you never fall,

You give me a sense of comfort,

Without you I wont survive the harsh lands,

Your skin golden as the desert sands,

When you tire you stop under the shade of the trees,

Feeding on plants and desert leaves,

Sand dunes don’t stop you,

You go on and strive,

Oh, mighty one that’s why you are called the “ship of the desert”

All hail! Its the desert beast..

A Cover Up

A mask of pretend to hide the feelings,

With sadness upon us we smile,

Why does the society expect us to behave otherwise ?

Mediocrity is the in thing,

Fitting in with the so called normal’s is absurd,

A chain of followers who seem to follow without questioning why,

A mask for tears,

A mask for insecurity,

A mask for power,

A mask for fake behavior,

How long will these masks exist ?

When will one realize it is fine to be open and be yourself,

Not worry about what others think and expect….

Delightful Sunset

Photo by Sasha Martynov on Pexels.com

Disappearance of the sun below the horizon,

Radiance of yellow and orange light,

As though a painter painting a watercolor sky,

Sparkling glamorous leaving no troubles behind,

Look up at the sky you have the best view,

What a brilliant sight,

Peaceful silence,

The fading light,

Evening serenity,

To escape,

All troubles stay away the moment,

The next day comes,

Waiting for the sunset to lift us up with its light again for the days to come..

Funny Bones

A joyful sound,

A humorous story,

Visual expression of happiness and relief,

A tickle in the funny bone,

An emotional context to conversations,

A positive interaction,

Contagious when passed,

No harm caused,

Appearance of excitement,

An inward feeling of joy and happiness,

Laughter is the best medicine for the heart…

So, Folks keep smiling and laugh your heart out.

Take care and Be safe.

Go Dream

Dream of a dream that fills your heart with joy,

No expectations or failures to make you cry,

One dream that is for you and only yours to be,

You play all the characters and build a story,

One where your wishes come true and nothing to regret for,

You go on and build the dream where you can be whoever you want to be,

You climb the mountains or trees, cross over many seas

Be the stars, the sun or the moon in the sky,

Be a bird ready to fly,

The dream is your own space to be…
