Uncharted Path

Nowhere to go,

Lost in the unknown,

Hunger pangs begin,

Cold shivers in the night,

Forest path dark,

Winds gushing and dust storms,

Realization comes in,

Survival Instincts kick in….

The Discovery

The candles illuminated the room,

A book was read with that light,

Everything handwritten in Ink,

The sounds of music unheard,

The thrill of movies absent,

Then came Thomas Alva Edison,

The phonograph,

The motion picture camera,

The long-lasting,

Practical electric light bulb,

He changed the way of life forever…

What makes people behave in a certain way,

The attention seekers,

The go getters,

The power seekers,

The blind followers,

You change to blend in,

You change to be a better human,

But always remember you change for yourself and not because others said so…

Tired and exhausted,

Energy drained out,

Hard day’s work,

Sleepy eyes,

Within a blink of an eye in a deep slumber,

Comfort of a bed for many,

Soft pillow to sleep on,

What about those who dont have any,

They continue to still carry on..

Finding that Substance

White strands of hair,

Getting older,

Wrinkles and aged lines,

With age comes,

The experience and wisdom,

You may not look the same,

Beauty is defined differently,

As you age gracefully,

It is the depth and substance of the individuality that defines you now…..

Sweet Burst

Rosy with blush on your cheek,

Divine delicious taste,

Swirling in the mouth wanting more,

Freshness with a burst of flavor,

No one can resist you,

Those who can will never know what they are missing …..

Running Wild

The unstoppable me runs and runs,

Feet pick up speed,

Heart beats faster,

I reach at the top of the hill,

All green and serene,

I scream loud enough,

Running wild among the trees,

I am free… I am free,

Tired I lay on the grass and look at the blue sky and feel the breeze…
