Dance to the tune of it,

Sing a song that gives you a reason to smile,

Let go of your fears,

Be in the moment,

Sparkle the inner happiness,

Feel the rhythm get to you,

The passion to dance,

Let your feet do the rest,

Filling the room with energy of sounds,

Echoes all around,

Sing a song and feel your heart become light,

And be taken to another world,

A world of music and sounds,

The air filled with positive vibes,

And your heart skips a beat,

Enjoying the time and moment that comes by……

Owe it to the wind to bring in some good news,

The smell of the flowers to the ocean breeze,

The fluttering and dancing of the trees,

The sound of children playing in the fields,

To the shiny sparkling water of the reflection of oneself is seen,

Owe it to the wind passing by,

Words murmured can be heard now close by,

Owe to the wind the fresh breath of air that swings by,

What a pleasant surprise,

Owe it to the wind for crossing these paths,

And providing a remarkable feeling at last…

Deep within the search begins for peace and quiet,

The mind makes noise forbidding the clarity of thought,

Deep inside when fears become reality,

And the mask you wear falls off,

Your emotions are seen by everyone,

But felt only by those few,

Within those feelings of uncertainty,

Comes a feeling of hope,

Opening the doors within,

To a key of opportunity….

What to keep and what will stay,

It is after all our decision at the end of the day,

Many such advices come your way,

You just need to choose the right ones,

And get rid of the ones that may cause you dismay…

THE RUN

I felt the ground beneath my feet,

I was not ready for defeat,

Looked up ready to go,

Anxious and waiting,

There it began the mega race ,

Slowly my feet picked up pace,

I made my way to the first in line,

I was in my lane,

We were done with the laps,

Now it was the end point I had to break,

Destination close by,

Feet tired and slow,

Tried hard but made it to second place,

Still proud it was a well deserved victory!!

FORGIVENESS

Forgiveness is a decision of the heart,

It is a tough one but a kind one to start,

Mind contemplates these decisions,

But it’s about being positive,

Removing any negative inhibitions,

Anger and grief come along,

Someone hurts you badly that you fall down,

But its all about rising and letting it out,

Pain and sorrow are the feelings that arise now,

But you gotta keep going and remember,

“Sometimes in life you gotta be the bigger person and forgive even those who don’t deserve it and let it pass”

There are times in life when you feel completely lost,

You don’t know which direction to take,

There is no sign board to guide you through this road,

Goals seem far away to achieve,

You are trying your best to go on anyway,

Hoping there is some light somewhere,

People don’t make it easy for you either,

A million things are said,

You gather all strengths and face them boldly,

Days , months pass away and still no success,

You fall down with vain,

But somehow you hold on to something or someone who will share your pain,

Life seems a bit better as you are not alone now,

The journey is going to be tough you know you have to take tough decisions,

Life comes to a stand still and you take a moment to think and breathe,

Plan all there is to achieve that is beyond,

Know that life is tough and there will be obstacles in the way,

But someday you will get what you deserve,

Because hard work always pays….

The Chimes

Everytime the wind blew,

The warm breeze whispered through the chimes,

Colorful and blue,

Twisted everytime it moved,

One could see the beautiful designs on it too,

The striking of the chimes,

Left a series of melodious sounds,

A morning wake up with the rising sun,

A relaxing and calming sound,

Oh what a beautiful feeling it is….

Long Time

Its been so long since I wrote my lines,

Time flew and my mind was occupied,

Now my thoughts are difficult to find,

But I am glad to be back and it’s me again,

This is me who I am and this is exactly where I want to be..

Sleepless

The sun has set,

In a few hours I will have to hit the bed,

But my thoughts continue,

Not allowing me to sleep,

I want to unwind and relax,

I read a book,

But the story excites me and I am awake again,

I listen to songs which I like,

But the energy keeps me awake all night,

I keep twisting and turning on my bed,

With my thoughts in my head,

The owl hooting,

Oh! Please go to bed,

Oh my! I can see the light,

My head hurts,

It’s morning now,

I was up all night….
