When do we listen to what others say,
How much of it do we listen and how much to throw away,
What to keep and what will stay,
It is after all our decision at the end of the day,
Many such advices come your way,
You just need to choose the right ones,
And get rid of the ones that may cause you dismay…
I felt the ground beneath my feet,
I was not ready for defeat,
Looked up ready to go,
Anxious and waiting,
There it began the mega race ,
Slowly my feet picked up pace,
I made my way to the first in line,
I was in my lane,
We were done with the laps,
Now it was the end point I had to break,
Destination close by,
Feet tired and slow,
Tried hard but made it to second place,
Still proud it was a well deserved victory!!
Forgiveness is a decision of the heart,
It is a tough one but a kind one to start,
Mind contemplates these decisions,
But it’s about being positive,
Removing any negative inhibitions,
Anger and grief come along,
Someone hurts you badly that you fall down,
But its all about rising and letting it out,
Pain and sorrow are the feelings that arise now,
But you gotta keep going and remember,
“Sometimes in life you gotta be the bigger person and forgive even those who don’t deserve it and let it pass”
There are times in life when you feel completely lost,
You don’t know which direction to take,
There is no sign board to guide you through this road,
Goals seem far away to achieve,
You are trying your best to go on anyway,
Hoping there is some light somewhere,
People don’t make it easy for you either,
A million things are said,
You gather all strengths and face them boldly,
Days , months pass away and still no success,
You fall down with vain,
But somehow you hold on to something or someone who will share your pain,
Life seems a bit better as you are not alone now,
The journey is going to be tough you know you have to take tough decisions,
Life comes to a stand still and you take a moment to think and breathe,
Plan all there is to achieve that is beyond,
Know that life is tough and there will be obstacles in the way,
But someday you will get what you deserve,
Because hard work always pays….
Its been so long since I wrote my lines,
Time flew and my mind was occupied,
Now my thoughts are difficult to find,
But I am glad to be back and it’s me again,
This is me who I am and this is exactly where I want to be..
“Everything was there, yet there was nothing”
“Loneliness took over and brought darkness along”
“Emotions were out of place”
“The need to be more visible grew”
“Insecurities clouded judgement”
“The ocean of thoughts, the waves that grew stronger day by day”
Creating an empty space…..
The very first step to every relationship,
Once broken cannot be mended,
Built over time,
Earned not given,
“Trust” a deep word with a deep meaning,
So important to feel it within,
The connect and the bond becomes strong,
In difficult times it is the trust that says hold on,
That someone who comes to your rescue when in need,
Trust is all that you need…
Was walking on a straight road,
Met a stranger a very fun fellow,
We spoke for hours and then went our way,
Was walking on a straight road,
A flock of sheep came my way,
A shepherd who had many stories to tell,
We spent a long time sharing stories and became friends,
Was walking on a straight road when a group of horses came running my way,
I jumped off the road to make way,
The hoof taps became closer and the sound became louder,
After a while they crossed the path and made their way across the grass,
Was walking on a straight road,
A farmer in a cart came my way,
On the way to the market to sell the goods,
We drank water under a tree and ate some bread,
Then he went on his way and I went on mine,
The path came to an end, the end of the straight road,
But it was a good journey,
Where strangers became friends…..
She stood still in the moment,
The camera captured her as she smiled,
At the corner of her eye was a tear waiting to come by,
The clicking sound started to hurt even more,
Someone who she isn’t she had to portray to the world outside,
She had to show she was strong and bold,
The world knew her to be so,
Inside she wanted to burst out and be free,
Away from all the people and all the empty lies,
She rushed and closed the door,
Droplets of tears dropped on the floor,
But she smiled for here there was no one to judge,
She was alone but still felt free,
And continued smiling even in this misery…
In search of peace,
Closer to Nature,
Lost in the tranquility,
The calmness and spirituality,
Mind transforms,
And a new state of serenity is attained…
