The Lonely Child

Her clothes were untidy,

Her cheeks had black blush on them,

She looked up and smiled but had a slight drop of tear in her eye,

No food, No where to sleep she says,

No where to go,

Her hands were overworked and there was no glow,

She wandered the streets all alone,

For there was no sight of relief or home,

Tyre’s and bags were her toys,

Bricks and stones were her life,

Her feet was bare with no shoes to protect,

She had no money to buy,

But still she laughed and smiled ,

She had nothing in life but still she had it all…..

The Unknown Twin

She had a smile across her face she saw something familiar,

The water was crystal clear and brought a tear,

She stared for hours for it made her excited to see herself,

Strange thing she wondered what it was, was it her twin?

She admired her beauty and charm,

For she had no mirror to look at for so long,

She moved her hand back and forth keeping one eye on her new friend,

And wondered, how can this person do exactly the same thing,

It was a fun game and she spent most of her time playing it,

Her reflection in water began to glow with the light and she found it a pretty sight,

Now she must go home and tell her parents about her day,

About how she met the most amazing person today!

Smile All the Way..

The feeling of joy in our hearts, expressed through our thoughts

The innocence on a baby’s face brings a smile to our face,

A perfect picture is what you get, when you bring a smile,

Smile is infectious they say, removes all problems and keeps us at bay

Expression of happiness and sometimes sadness when someone smiles I smile too

It wrinkles up your face, and when its gone its gone and comes back when it may,

Smile through out the way to keep your worries away!
